Reva Minkoff is the Founder and President of Digital4Startups Inc. and DigitalGroundUp Inc. Within the first 6 months of its founding, DigitalGroundUp won 2nd place at Chicago Booth’s SeedCon competition and was named a finalist in the Chicago Interactive Media Association’s Digital Startup Initiative. Reva was named The Founder Institute’s Female Founder Fellow, a distinction awarded to the most promising female applicant to the Founder Institute, a program from which Reva graduated in September 2012. In 2014 Reva was nominated for 3 Founder Institute Graduate Awards, including Best From the Eastern US and Best Female CEO. In 2015 Reva was named to the JUF 36 Under 36 List and Chicago Scholars 35 Under 35 Young Leaders Making An Impact List. Reva also teaches at The StartUp Institute, Tribeca Flashpoint Academy’s Digital Professional Institute, and is a mentor at The Founder Institute.
Reva got her start in marketing through an internship designing collateral for USAToday while still in high school, and her start in digital marketing through an internship with Google while in college. After graduating from Harvard University with Honors in Government, Reva moved to Chicago. Prior to founding DigitalGroundUp and Digital4Startups, Reva was the Director of Marketing for Poggled, a startup offering nightlife deals in 5 markets. While at Poggled, Reva was invited to the White House to live tweet the arrival ceremony of the new British Prime Minister. Before coming to Poggled, Reva was an Advertising Strategist at Resolution Media. While there, she worked on clients such as Hewlett-Packard, Clear Wireless and Norwegian Cruise Lines, running the day-to-day search operations for HP’s Commercial Printing account. She was also a Senior Marketing Analyst for Reverse Mortgage Guides and a Business Analyst at Sears Holdings Corporation.
Reva is a member of Ms. Tech and The National Association of Professional Women. She is on the Board of Directors of the Harvard Club of Chicago and the Harvard Alumni Association.
Matthew is the General Manager of Digital4Startups Inc., where he has quickly worked his way up the ranks since joining the company near its founding. Previously, he worked at Poggled Inc., where he assisted with Digital Marketing, Analytics, Reporting, and Sales efforts. He was responsible for extensive daily and weekly reporting, in addition to going on sales calls, where he learned the ins and outs of B2B sales.
Matthew is a huge sports fan – particularly when it comes to the Twins, Blackhawks, 49ers, and anything Northwestern. He was a college baseball player at the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater.
Nick Hendricks is the Senior Marketing Manager at Digital4Startups, making his extensive SEO knowledge available to D4S clients. Previously, he handled local SEM & SEO efforts at Acadia Healthcare and Aronson Advertising, where he gained extensive knowledge of both the healthcare and automotive industries. Nick singlehandedly led the complete marketing efforts of early-stage startup HaulHound, successfully managing small ad budgets, collaborating with the sales team, and personally connecting with users in an industry at the beginning stages of online integration. He loves discussing advanced keyword research, developing backlink strategies, and finds performing site migrations relaxing.
After earning a Bachelors in Philosophy, German and Italian from Seattle University, Nick enrolled directly in the Università del Sacro Cuore, Sede di Brescia, completing all his courses in Italian and gaining a masters in literature with top honors. He’s fond of yoga, dogs and coffee, in any order.
Marina is a Partner of Digital4Startups Inc., where she heads up the social media, content marketing, and email practices. Marina Christos has been working with small and medium sized businesses on their social media since 2011. She founded Socialty, a Chicago-based social media marketing firm, and is well versed in general social media strategy, content marketing, social recruiting, web development, and online presence management.
Marina writes quality content to help clients reach their audiences organically. As a content creator, strategist, and speaker, Marina works closely with new businesses in order to optimize their online presence and properly brand themselves through digital and social media marketing.
Marketing Coordinator Laura Nilles is the newest member of the Digital4Startups team. A recent graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Madison, Laura was a copywriting intern for an advertising agency before joining Digital4Startups.
